Help when a step gets stuck
TutorialPin Support
Try these quick checks first. They solve the most common Chrome extension issues.
Common troubleshooting
Side Panel does not open
Click the TutorialPin toolbar icon again. If the panel still does not open, reload Chrome and confirm the extension is enabled.
“Pin as Tutorial” does not appear
Select non-empty text on a normal webpage, then right-click the selection. Chrome internal pages do not allow extensions to access page content.
Checklist not saving
Keep the panel open for a moment after editing. If TutorialPin reports invalid local data, use its Repair data action and review the confirmation carefully.
Extension disabled
Open chrome://extensions, find TutorialPin, and switch it on. Review any message Chrome displays before re-enabling it.
How to reset local data
Delete tutorials individually inside TutorialPin. For a complete reset, remove and reinstall the extension; this permanently removes locally stored checklists.
